Our Journey to Make a Difference

Welcome to Meant to be Global. Discover our mission, who we help, and our commitment to fostering positive change in vulnerable communities. Join us as we build a more inclusive future.

In addition to our core mission, we prioritize education as a vital tool for empowerment. By providing resources, training, and support to individuals and communities, we aim to break the cycle of poverty and equip the next generation with the skills they need to thrive. We believe that education not only transforms lives but also strengthens communities, paving the way for sustainable development and opportunity for all.

Our Inspiring Beginnings

Meant to be Global was founded with a clear vision: to catalyse the potential of vulnerable and socially stigmatised groups across Europe and beyond. We were inspired by the urgent need to address economic inequality and the lack of access to quality opportunities in marginalised communities. Our primary goal is to break cycles of poverty and exclusion, providing pathways to self-sufficiency and dignity for those who need it the most.

Our organisation exists to design and implement innovative projects that address social challenges and strengthen communities locally and globally.

While our organisation is based in the United Kingdom, our work focuses on creating meaningful and sustainable impact across Europe, Africa and Latin America.

Who We Help and Why

Our work specifically targets three key groups:

a. Vulnerable women: This includes survivors of gender-based violence, single-parent families, and women experiencing long-term unemployment. We aim to provide them with the resources and support to rebuild their lives and achieve economic independence.

b. Migrants and refugees: We facilitate their socio-economic integration by removing barriers to entry into the European job market, offering support that spans cultural, linguistic, and professional development.

c. Young people at social risk: Focusing on young individuals who are not in education, employment, or training, we strive to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty through technical and emotional capacity building.

Our Approach to Support

At Meant to be Global, we make a real difference through comprehensive support and tailored activities. We offer vocational training, mentorship programmes, mental health support, legal aid, and job placement assistance. Our holistic approach ensures that beneficiaries receive not just immediate relief, but also the long-term tools and confidence needed for sustainable success. We focus on fostering self-reliance, building strong community networks, and advocating for policy changes that benefit our target groups.
